“I will forget about you every day” – photo project in Venice

In a couple of weeks I am going to Venice to document a site-specific project by performance artist Chiara Mu.

Dressed in white, she will be accompanying passers-by across the Campiello Scuola Grande san Giovanni Evangelista every morning and evening every day between 4th June and 4th July, never crossing the place alone.

What I’ll be joining her for is to photograph her intervention, taking full advantage of that special summer light in Venice. These pictures will be exhibited later.

Chiara and I have already worked together on one of her other projects – “The Apartment”, for which I made a video. I enjoyed working with her, because she has a clear vision about what she wants to achieve and we understood each other well.

Now, the plane tickets are booked, the camera lenses are clean, and I’m very much looking forward to my Venice escapade!
