Premiere and Post Oxford meeting – November 2011

Today’s meeting was really busy. It started with Glenn presenting news about Flash and Adobe. Alun’s tutorial about building an app for Android came next and it was a success. I was able to download his “Acceleration test” app from the Android Market and play with it during the presentation.
In the second part of the evening Peter Jones’es pulled us into slitscan world, showing the basics of the technique and many examples, including a short video about “Space Odyssey” camera techniques.
After that Stavroula Kounadea talked about relations between director and actor, giving real world examples and bravely answering the questions from the audience.

Our next meeting is in Royal Blenheim pub on Thursday, the 15th of December. This meeting will include members of all Oxford’s Adobe Groups: Flash, Digital Creatives and Premiere and Post.
