“Average worker and technology” debate at Oxford Union

Today I took a part in filming the heated debate on the motion “This house believes that the average worker is being left behind by advances in technology.”

The motion was proposed by Andrew McAfee, Erik Brynjolsson, Patrick Chung and Reid Hoffman. On the other side we could see Tom Hayes, Kal Patel, Kim Polese and Padmasree Warrior.

The dispute took place at Oxford Union and it precedes tomorrow’s annual Silicon Valley Comes to Oxford event. The annual event is going to be streamed online via WebEx and I will be involved in it, operating the vision mixer. After the event I am also going to take a part in editing the recorded videos.
