This page explains what personal data dariusz.tv collects, why and what you can do about it. We keep it to a minimum.

Who we are

Who is responsible for your data

dariusz.tv is run by Dariusz Dziala in the United Kingdom. He is responsible for the personal data described here. To ask about your data, use the chat or WhatsApp on the Contact page, or the email address shown there.

What we collect

What we collect and why

  • Chat messages. If you use the chat, we receive what you write and any details you share, such as your name or email address. We use them only to reply and to discuss your project.
  • WhatsApp messages. If you message us on WhatsApp, we receive your phone number, your WhatsApp name and your messages. We use them in the same way.
  • Technical data. Like every website, our web host records basic technical information, such as IP addresses and the pages requested. This keeps the site secure and working.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking. We do not sell or share your data for marketing.

Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering your enquiries and running the website. If we go on to work together, it becomes the contract between us.

Cookies

Cookies

Browsing this website sets no cookies. Cookies are set only when you choose a feature that needs them:

  • Chat. The chat is provided by Tidio. It uses cookies and similar storage to keep your conversation going. It loads only after you choose “Allow and open chat”.
  • Your chat choice. Your browser remembers that you allowed the chat, so we do not ask again. This is stored only on your device.
  • Video. The video on the Portfolio page plays from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube may set cookies once you press play.

To stop the chat, you can withdraw your choice here. The chat will then ask again next time.

Other services

Services we use

Some parts of the website come from other companies. They receive your IP address when they deliver their part:

  • Tidio – the chat, once you allow it.
  • WhatsApp – if you message us there.
  • Google – the fonts (Google Fonts), the YouTube video and its preview image and a file used to display the 3D DNA model.
  • jsDelivr – the library that draws the 3D scenes.

Some of these companies may handle data outside the UK. They use legal safeguards for this.

Keeping data

How long we keep it

We keep chat and WhatsApp conversations only as long as we need them to reply or to work together. After that, we delete them. If we work together, we keep project records for as long as the law requires.
